Capcom just released a new trailer for Asura's Wrath.  This game is also being developed by CyberConnect2 and it will be interesting to see what they will come up with together.  Asura's Wrath is an action game inspired by Asian mythology and fused with science fiction.  Going by the trailers the gameplay is going to be brutal.  Check out the latest trailer:

If your wondering why that guy is so angry let me tell you a little about the story.  You play as Asura who was once a revered deity.  He was betrayed by his fellow gods and lost all of his powers.  Asura is consumed by anger and swears revenge on all that have done him wrong.  Channeling his inner rage he finds new strength and unleashes his wrath on his betrayers. 

Asura seems to share a few similarities to Kratos from God of War;  both of them were wronged by gods, very angry, and out for revenge.  Capcom has said that this game will redefine the action genre and I'm excited to see them do it.  If anyone can do it, I think it would be Capcom.
