When deciding what your Gamer Type is, it's not only about what types of games you play and how much you game. It's about how and why you play them too. You'll notice when you read one of our articles we may mention something like this: "This game was definitely made for the Average Gamer in mind" or "Top Dog's will enjoy this game the most with it's competitive style of play". What do we mean by this? Let me explain what your Gamer Type means. I have classified gamers into 4 basic categories: Hardcore Gamer, Average Gamer, Roleplay Gamer, and Casual Gamer. And within those categories there are 3 types of gamers each:
Tactician
Top Dog
Top Dog
Completionist
Easygoing
Thrill Seeker
Partier
Dreamer
Creator
Antagonist
Flash Master
Social Enthusiast
Puzzler
Click the links to find out more about each type of gamer, then decide which gamer you are. You may notice that you fall into multiple categories. However, you should have a stronger affinity for one of the 4 basic categories over the others. From there you should be one or more of the 3 types of gamers that are under that category. e.g. Hardcore Gamer: Tactician/Completionist.
